Hey y’all--
Loving “the gathering” and it’s energy! I don’t know if it was much “less frantic” than it ever is. Praying for what to do near term! Please pray with us about the technology we apply to the building to try to respond to our “growing pains”!
It looks like God is providing J with a a car so he can get to jobs and job interviews. Thank God with us for His provision and for the way that God is working through His Spirit in J’s life.
D is being led to divorce M. She has the Biblical grounds for her action at least 10 times over. Please pray for M to be calm in his response. It is what he has asked for but he is still not satisfied. Pray for D and her daughters’ protection from M as he has physically abused them all repeatedly in the past.
G brought a box of teabags to “the gathering” tonight. Thank and praise God with us for this dear, old soul who loves us, prays for us and gives out of her lack to try to meet our needs. A few weeks back she gave me a “gift” of a noxious after-shave product, that I will leave unnamed. (Just in case it is any of y’all’s favorite!) We all (especially me!) need grace for G’s act of kindness/sanctification!
It’s cool to be able to joke around a little with y’all but it’s no joke how deeply we are indebted to you for your faithful prayers for us. Your responses to the “personal prayer requests” of last week have been so moving, encouraging and humbling. Y’all truly are making a difference here on “The Far Side”.
