Attached is a picture of R and I taken last week. I’ll send another picture soon of what he is looking like now. Tonight he looked like a different man. It appears that having a roof over his head is agreeing with him. Please keep praying as we continue discipling him and the others like him who have such a shallow, misguided faith...if it is indeed faith at all.
I celebrates her 82nd birthday tomorrow. The throat issue has been treated and she says it is clearing up. Hard to get a straight answer from her but it must not be cancer. Please pray for her. She was robbed twice this week, sunglasses and the petty amount she carries with her. She also drives about 20 miles to the gathering. I’m concerned now that it’s dark after we worship.
We will reach out to the community around our building next Sunday. Please pray for us. There is some sense of spiritual significance to the day and we would like to be faithful in our witness of Christ to all He brings our way.
Pray for S as he goes to court to face rape charges, brought by his wife, after their messy divorce. He is walking the very first steps of repentance.
Please keep praying for M and D and their daughters. M scheduled a meeting with D and me but decided to “give it a miss” in favor of getting his guitar strung. He’s back on a minesite in the far NW for approx 6 weeks. Please pray the he will repent and draw near to God. Please pray for D’s strength and continued healing from the auto accident a couple of weeks back.
A few new folks in again this week. Thanks for your sustaining prayers. We love and appreciate all of you!
In Jesus’ name,
- Chuck & Jimmie-Lynn Linkston
