Dear Praying Friends,
The Apostle's word to the church in Corinth have buoyed me through these weeks: "For when I am weak then I am strong." 2 Cor.12:10 Physically I am worn, but I am sustained my God's strength and grace. I pray that you will continue to know Him and his power in your daily lives.
1. Easter Service
We are inviting more than 3,000 neighbors to our Easter service. We have already distributed about 800 flyers door to door, and will distribute the rest this Sunday afternoon.
Will you please pray for good weather as we fan out into the community? Also ask the Lord to open the hearts of those who will receive the flyers so that they will come to the worship service. Pray that we will joyfully celebrate this wonderful reality that our Lord lives!
2. R Family- Montana Vista
As I mentioned last month we started to help another family in the construction of their house. This past month we had the awesome help of a group of 11 guys from a church in Wichita who built the trusses for the roof. Thank God for their hard work and protection. Praise God as well for the help of Gary (construction whiz!) who came down at the last minute to help us out of a bind!
M just delivered a baby boy- J this past Monday. Pray for the Lord's healing on him as he was born with jaundice. Continue to pray for J who does not have faith in Christ.

3. Financial Support
We have been thoroughly blessed by you through your prayer and financial support, for which we are deeply grateful. Mission to the World has alerted us that our financial status is sliding downwards in significant ways. From one perspective we are not surprised because of the expenses required in starting a new church. So will you pray for the Lord to provide for our financial support? Thanks!
Las Tierras Mission is assuming more financial responsibility as it grows and people learn to be generous givers to the Lord. However, this is a slow process especially since border incomes are low and we have several unemployed families attending LTCC.

4. R's back
Thank you for praying for our daughter R who injured her back playing volleyball. She is taking medication which is helping significantly, but according the doctor's orders she is not to play volleyball for at least a month. Needless to say, she is not a happy camper. Please pray for the Lord to heal her physically, and for R to grow in trust of her Father in heaven who is wise and always good!
