Paraclete Mission Group-Chuck and Jimmie-Lynn Linkston

Chuck and Jimmie-Lynn have worked in ministry since the early 1990's. Chuck was on staff as the youth pastor at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Asheville, NC for over 10 years. During that time, Jimmie-Lynn began discipling younger women within the youth group. In 2002, we moved our family to Australia with Mission to the World (MTW) and served as missionaries there for 17 years. We're now back home in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. Our five children are spread out between America and Australia, much like their identities.

We are convinced that "living" the gospel is the only hope for the transformation of people and culture.During our time on the mission field in Australia, we began planting churches, and God threw us into the deep end of mercy ministry. It pleased the Lord for churchfreo to meet 500 yards from the largest homeless population in the city of Fremantle, Western Australia. when asked, "Have you always had a heart for the homeless?" The answer is always, "No. It's just what God has done."

Chuck is committed to mercy ministry based church-planting, both locally and globally, among marginal members of society. Jimmie-Lynn serves with THRIVE, an organization that ministers to global women serving overseas.THRIVE retreats provide Jimmie-Lynn with the opportunity to come alongside women on the mission field and show them they are known, cared for and loved. She is committed to attend three international retreats per year. Go to www.thriveministry.org for more information.

Our ministry lives have been marked by evangelism  and outreach, mercy ministry and culturally -     focused discipleship. More so, our ministry lives have been marked by grace - for us and in what the Lord has done.
