November 2013 - MTW - Africa - Bordens - Prayer and Praise

Dear Partners in ministry,

Greetings from the Bordens. I leave today to visit and teach at 4 training sites throughout Malawi, and wanted to send you my schedule for your information and ask you to pray - for a safe and healthy trip, for productive meetings with the leaders/coordinators and committees of each study center, and especially for the students 'to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ' and be faithful servants in His kingdom.

Nov. 13 - depart from Dulles/Washington, overnight to Johannesburg via Dakar; 14th - overnight layover in "Joburg" with a former student from The Bible Institute of South Africa serving the Lord in inner city Joburg.

Nov. 15 - arrive in the capital, Lilongwe @ 1PM; meet with study center coordinator Pastor Harvey Chabinga; 16th - meeting with his leadership team regarding the (re)establishment of the MINTS study center there (long story, but the situation with MINTS in Lilongwe has been on hold for about a year).

Nov. 17 - church in Lilongwe; meet with Felix Nyika, Pastor of a Reformed non-denomination church and a key leader in the capital city, regarding helping with the MINTS center there.

Nov. 18 - bus south to Zomba; meet with coordinator Pastor Joster Jumbe and the SCC (study center committee) of the MINTS center there; 19-22 - teach at Eschol Theological College (MINTS-related).

Nov. 23 - early bus to Blantyre; 23 and 25-26 - teach at the MINTS center there led by coordinator Pastor Moffat Mbale. 24th - church in Blantyre; meet with Malawian friends I met in South Africa.

Nov. 27 - finish in Blantyre; bus back to Lilongwe.

Nov. 28 - early bus far north to Mzuzu; start a new study center there, which will be led by coordinator Pastor Lancaster W. Mfungwe; orientation to MINTS for staff and students, and introduction to their first course; 29-Dec. 2 continue teaching.

Dec. 3 - bus back to Lilongwe and fly to Cape Town; re-connect with the MTW theological education team and other friends/associates there, etc.

Dec. 11-12 - return to the US.

It was great to see several of you at the PCA/MTW/RUF Global Missions Conference in beautiful Greenville, SC this past weekend!
