Dear Prayer Partners,
We really desire your prayers
for these important matters:
1. Our French denomination
leaders meeting with Mission to the World leaders on June 11 to discuss future
relations.
2. Finding parents of primary
school children who are open to our summer vacation Bible day camp.
3. Support raising and
Marseille lodging for our summer intern, Karen Kegel.
4. Miracle for French law
student seeking visa for summer internship in US.
5. American host family for 16
year-old Pierre for July. And an American host family from August through
October for Madison.
Explanations:
1. Please pray for
wisdom, faith and cooperation as our denomination leaders meet with MTW leaders
to make plans for future work together.
2. We are starting a
Bible day camp for primary school children as an outreach to the neighborhoods
around our church. Please pray for open-minded parents who want their
children to learn about the Bible.
3. Our summer intern,
Karen Kegel, needs to raise support for her ministry with us this summer.
We also need to find a French family to host her during this time.
Please pray that both would come about.
4. Astrid, the French Christian
law student, needs a J-! visa to work ion the US this summer (she has an
internship offer). However, the hoops to jump through and admin cost look
daunting. Please pray for an amazing solution.
5. Pierre's family lived
near in Marseille near us, before moving to Paris. He would like to spend
part of his summer in the U.S. if he can find a host family. And Madison
("Mad-ee-SUN") will be 15 this summer and she enters 10th grade this
fall in Marseille. Rather than spend a summer in the U.S., Madison would
like to attend an American high school by spending August, September and
October in the U.S. Please pray for a host family for her
end-of-summer-early-fall lodging, and for an American school which will allow
her to attend for just those few months.
